I use EADR whenever I attempt data recovery with my software on a customer's hard drive and fail to recover the data. Their expertise in this field is excellent, and I don't know how they do it! They have an excellent referral programme which means if you send them work, you get paid a commission for successful data recovery by them. I see it as a win-win; my company is able to provide services beyond my capabilities because of EADR, but also I get credit for being able to serve my customers better and get commission for doing so. Steve and Alison were brilliant from the start. They took the time to explain what the issues might be and the chances of data recovery with no obligation to commit at all. Having listened to their excellent advice, I decided to go ahead with the initial scan of the drive. I was sent a complete list of the recoverable data before I had to make the decision to go ahead with the complete recovery. At every stage of the process, I was given regular and detailed updates. Afterwards, Steve took the time to sit down and explain to me about different backup systems so that I could avoid a repeat incident. Indeed they always made me welcome and answered all my questions (including very basic ones!) with patience and clarity. I discovered EADR after my external hard drive of 7 years finally bit the dust. It contained the vast majority of my work, so I was initially a little worried about the chances of recovery, but from start to finish EADR were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. I sent it off to them, and after paying the inspection fee, I received a detailed explanation of everything that was wrong with the drive. It was a huge relief to see that although the damage was extensive, there was still a chance of recovery!

Soon enough, I was elated to receive a listing of the entire drive to confirm, and there were only a couple of files that had errors. The bill definitely wasn't cheap and I had to split it across a couple of months, but when you factor in the work they did and the fact it included a brand new drive, I'd say it was worth every penny. My drive was 1TB, but it was full to the brim of data so they recovered it onto a new 2TB drive which I could continue using regularly.

The drive arrived safe and sound, and it's clear EADR handle everything with professionalism and care. The box included some courteous bonuses that topped it off for me! It was emotional having all my files back, and I've been going through them and making physical backups to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I can't recommend EADR enough! They've provided the greatest customer service I've experienced thus far, and they've double-checked everything before going ahead. Many thanks :)

When my external hard drive broke, I initially contacted a company in Bristol for repairs. However, their staff were arrogant, their explanations were vague, and the estimated cost was very high. I decided not to proceed with them and instead reached out to another company. The representative there told me they couldn't fix the issue and recommended I contact EADR.

From the beginning, EADR’s communication was polite and friendly, and their explanations were very clear. I cannot thank Alison and Steve at East Anglian Data Recovery Services Ltd enough for recovering tens of thousands of photos for me, from a very old hard drive that had given up working!
Photos are incredibly important to me and I had over a decade's worth of memories stored on the hard drive, meticulously organised, only to have it fail and deny me access to them!
When a local firm could not clone the drive, they suggested EADR and I made contact. Alison was replied that same day and I was impressed with the process she described, so sent the hard drive off with everything crossed!
Alison and Steve kept me updated every step of the way and, while this recovery ended up being at the more expensive end of the scale, I trusted them and it was worth every penny to have my photos back!!
