Following a local electricity power surge I discovered that my External Hard Drive appeared 'dead'. The EHD had 10 years of of artwork image files on it along with some 20 years of photographs. Days later I took the EHD to an IT company I had used to help me on previous occasions. A week later, I received a call informing me that they and tried and failed to access and save any files. Several days later, in a chance conversation with a neighbour, it was suggested that I contacted EADR. Following a brief phone exchange I posted my apparently 'dead' EHD to EADR. Several days later I received an email from EADR informing me that they had been able to access the hard drive and provided me with some interactive graphic pages that listed folders and files that could be accessed and copied. These pages appeared to indicate that it was worth confirming with EADR that it was worthwhile to progress project to copying the folders and files onto a new EHD and sending via recorded delivery post to me. This they did promptly. When the drive arrived I eagerly plugged it in to find that as far as I could discover, pretty much all of the folders and files on my old EHD drive had been salvaged and saved. What had initially been a depressing and worrying experience turned into an absolute releif and delight thanks to East Anglia Data Recovery Services. They appear capable of bringing dead technology back to life.

What an amazing business! I contacted EADR Ltd regarding a hard drive that had a lot of precious photos saved on it, that was not working. The responses were swift to come back, they were friendly and explained things clearly for a person that is not massively computer-savvy but not in a patronizing way. I sent the hard drive (using their instructions) on the 22nd November and the data was recovered and returned to me on 30th November (there was a days delay due to me not them). I have no hesitation in highly recommending EADRS. We used them to recover data from a rather old and apparently corrupted external hard drive. In particular, we were desperate to recover some important family photos. After EARDS got to work, we can now access all the files, as far as I can see (but there are rather a lot!) As well as being highly effective in their work, EADRS provided an excellent level of service, being both speedy and keeping us informed every step of the way. I would certainly use them again if I have any future problems with data recovery.
