When my daughter’s laptop crashed a year and a half ago, something told me not to throw the hard drive away. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I made that decision. At the time, I had taken the laptop in desperation to a couple of computer servicing companies who, although very helpful, told me the only option was to send it off to a specialist company and that it would cost well over £1,000 regardless of the outcome.

I recently had a phone call from a friend at flomotion who told me about ‘East Anglian Data Recovery Service’, a business he had been introduced to that may be able to help. I passed the hard drive on to him not feeling too hopeful to be honest. Fast forward one week and my daughter has all her lost photos, family holiday videos, school presentations, songs, memories…you name it!.. installed on her replacement laptop and for 1/4 of the price I had been previously quoted. I cannot praise enough the fast, professional service we received in the form of detailed emails and phone calls to explain anything I didn’t understand. I was assured that if the particular details we wanted weren’t retrievable, there would be no charge whatsoever. I was more than happy with the quote and in fact, I was charged even less as they lent me a temporary hard drive with the details on to save me buying one. I don’t know many companies that would offer such a personal service. My daughter is so happy with the result. I can’t thank Steve and Alison enough.
